Terms of Use
Effective October 19, 2026 · updated October 21, 2026
- By using the MeetBadge website or app you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
- Be respectful. Don't harass, impersonate, spam or scam other members, and don't post content that is illegal, hateful or that you don't have the rights to. You can report a member in the app; we may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
- Only show an NFT you own. Holder Edition items use your own NFT image under that NFT's holder license; ownership is verified and features stop if it lapses. MeetBadge isn't affiliated with Yuga Labs or any NFT collection.
- Points, stamps and attendance records are for fun and proof of participation. They have no cash value and can't be sold, transferred or redeemed for money.
- Orders are covered by the Preorders, shipping and refunds section below. Physical items ship to US addresses only. Event hosts who cover badges for attendees: see Event host sponsorships; hosts who buy badges for their event: Host badge orders.
- The app is provided “as is” (including TestFlight test builds, which may change or break). To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses.
- We may update these terms; we'll change the date above when we do. Questions: hello@meetbadge.io.
Preorders, shipping and refunds
- Made to order. Badges, cards and stickers are made to order after you buy, so every order is a preorder. Orders usually arrive in about 3–6 weeks.
- Shipping. US addresses only. We expect to ship every order within 6 weeks of purchase, and we email you tracking when it ships. If we can't ship within that time, we'll email you before it passes with a new ship date and you can choose to agree to the delay or cancel for a full refund.
- Holder Edition items (Holder Edition Badge, Card Deck, Event Kit and Sticker Pack) need your NFT. Your card is authorized at checkout and only charged after we re-verify that your wallet still owns (or holds a delegation for) that NFT. If the check fails, we release the authorization and you aren't charged.
- Cancellations. You can cancel for a full refund any time before your order goes into production: email hello@meetbadge.io with your order details. If your order hasn't shipped within 60 days of purchase, you may cancel for a full refund at any time.
- Returns. Items are personalized, so we can't take returns once printed. If something arrives damaged, defective or wrong, email us within 30 days of delivery and we'll replace it or refund you.
- Prices and tax. Prices are in USD and exclude sales tax, which is added at checkout where we collect it. Intro prices (Event Kit early-bird, Card Deck founding price) apply to the first 25 orders of each and end automatically. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Host accounts, event listings and prizes
- Host accounts. Hosts sign in to the host dashboard with a one-time code sent to their email. Events, orders and drop locations booked with that email appear there. Keep access to your email: anyone who can read it can sign in.
- Listings go live without review. A host can register an event and choose to list it publicly on the MeetBadge events page at once, or keep it unlisted (only people with the link see it). MeetBadge doesn't check listings before they appear. By registering you confirm that you organise the event or are authorised by its organiser, that the details are accurate, and that the listing (name, description, image and links) is yours to publish, is lawful and isn't misleading, spam, adult content or a copy of another event's listing. You are responsible for your listing and for the event itself.
- One listing per event. We block registrations that match an existing event (a very similar name with overlapping dates in the same place, or the same event link). If it's the same event, ask its organiser for co-host access instead. If you say an event is different, tell us what makes it different; that note is shared with MeetBadge. A host can't register the same name and dates twice, and up to 3 new events a day.
- Co-hosts. The event owner can approve co-hosts from an emailed link and remove them any time. Co-hosts can manage the listing, quests, prizes and codes, but can't delete the event or change where badges ship. The owner is responsible for what co-hosts do.
- Reports and removal. Anyone can report a listing. Several reports hide it until we review it, and we may unlist, hide or remove any listing, or suspend a host account, at our discretion, for example for breaking these terms. We don't charge for listings.
- Quests, leaderboards and prizes. Quests are free for anyone and never need a purchase. If a host offers prizes, the host is the sponsor of record: the host sets and provides the prizes, writes or confirms the official rules (eligibility, dates, how winners are chosen, and the statement NO PURCHASE NECESSARY), follows the law where the event runs (including any registration, bonding or tax rules for prize promotions), and delivers the prizes. Leaderboard points come from quests and, where shown, badge taps (capped at 100 tap points per member per event). MeetBadge provides the tools and the rules page and isn't responsible for awarding or delivering prizes.
Event host sponsorships
- Drop locations. Hosts can ask us to list their event as a MeetBadge drop location on the MeetBadge for event organisers page. We review every request and may decline any. Once approved, the event name, dates, venue and venue address are shown publicly.
- Covering badges. A host can pay for a batch of MeetBadge badges for their attendees, plus one flat bulk shipping fee to the venue (prices in USD, sales tax added at checkout where we collect it, charged when you pay). After payment the host gets a shareable claim link and a set of one-time codes; claims through either count toward the number of badges paid for, at most one per attendee social account.
- Volume pricing. The per-badge price depends on the number of badges in the order: 10–49 badges at $39, 50–99 badges at $35, 100–249 badges at $32, 250–499 badges at $29 each, with the whole order at the price of the tier its quantity reaches; 500 or more by custom quote. Tier pricing is set at purchase: the price you paid per badge doesn't change if you later buy more, and a separate order is priced on its own quantity.
- Holder Edition badges. A host can also cover MeetBadge Holder Edition Badges for attendees who hold an NFT from the collections the host picks (from the collections we support), alone or mixed with General Badges in one order: 10–49 at $49, 50–99 at $44, 100–249 at $40, 250–499 at $36 each; 500 or more by custom quote. In a mixed order each badge type is priced by its own quantity and needs at least 10. The same shipping, claim deadline and refund terms apply (unclaimed Holder Edition badges are refunded at the Holder Edition price paid). Attendees sign in, we verify on our servers that one of their wallets holds the NFT, and they confirm the same NFT licence terms as a Holder Edition purchase. One Holder Edition badge per NFT and per person for each event. If the host allows it, attendees without a qualifying NFT may claim a General Badge instead, which uses one of the host's Holder Edition badges.
- Claim deadline. Attendees claim by the deadline shown on the claim page (by default 42 days before the event starts), so we can produce and ship in time. After the deadline the link and codes stop working.
- Production and delivery. Sponsored badges are preorders like every other order. Claimed badges are made after the claim deadline and shipped in one parcel to the venue, to be handed out at the event. If they can't ship in time, we tell the host before the event and offer the choice to wait or cancel for a full refund. Attendees don't pay and don't give a shipping address. The host is responsible for receiving the parcel at the venue and for handing badges out.
- Refunds. The host can cancel for a full refund any time before the badges go into production. After the claim deadline, the host can ask for a refund of the badges nobody claimed, at the price paid per badge in that order (plus the matching sales tax): email hello@meetbadge.io, and we refund them to the original payment method. If the badges haven't shipped within 60 days of payment, the host may cancel the unshipped badges for a full refund at any time. Badges are personalized once printed, so we can't take returns; damaged, defective or wrong items are replaced or refunded as above.
- Attendees. A sponsored badge is free to the attendee and has no cash value. Claims need a name and at least one social link, like every MeetBadge badge.
Host badge orders
- Ordering. A host can pay for 10 to 499 MeetBadge badges for an event (minimum 10) on the Buy badges for your event page without listing the event or choosing a drop location. Prices follow the volume pricing above, plus one flat bulk shipping fee to one US address (sales tax added at checkout where we collect it, charged when you pay). The event must start at least 45 days after the order. Larger or rush orders are quoted by email.
- Claim codes. After payment the host gets one single-use claim code per badge paid for, on a private order page (with a link and QR code for each, a CSV download and printable cards). The host decides who gets a code and can have us email codes to attendees the host names; the host must have permission to email those addresses. Each code claims and designs one free MeetBadge Badge, once (a name, a photo or X picture and at least one social link; at most one per attendee social account). While claims are open the host can replace an unused code; the old code stops working and a new one takes its place, so the number of codes stays the same. Lost or shared codes are the host's responsibility: a code claimed by someone else counts as claimed. The event isn't listed publicly and attendees don't see the host's address.
- Claim deadline and production. Claims close at the claim deadline, 42 days before the event starts (our production and shipping lead time), or as soon as every badge is claimed, whichever comes first; the host can also close claims early from the order page. We then make every claimed badge and ship them together in one parcel to the address the host gave, which can be changed on the order page until claims close. Nothing ships to attendees; the host hands the badges out. We aim to deliver before the event but can't guarantee carrier delivery dates.
- Unclaimed badges aren't refunded. The host pays for the number of badges ordered. Whatever is claimed when claims close (even a single badge) is made and shipped; badges nobody claimed are not refunded. If nobody claims a badge before the deadline, nothing is made or shipped and the order closes without a refund. The host confirms this at checkout. This replaces the unclaimed-badge refund in the sponsorship terms above for these orders.
- Payment problems. Billing errors, duplicate charges and card disputes are handled as for any order: email hello@meetbadge.io. If the badges haven't shipped within 60 days after claims close, the host may cancel the unshipped badges for a full refund. Printed badges are personalized, so we can't take returns; damaged, defective or wrong items are replaced or refunded.
